Christmas Cookie Book Tag!

blogmas header 4

Ho, ho, ho! Welcome to blogmas day 11!

We’re almost half-way through blogmas, it’s election day tomorrow (remember to vote!) and I’ve hit a bit of a slump blogmas wise. So, seeing as I was struggling today I thought I should do a good old faithful book tag with some fun Christmassy questions!

I’m not sure who originally created this tag but I saw it first on Escape From Reality

Chocolate Chip: A Classic Book You Loved

There’s a few but I think my favourite is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.

Thin Mints: A Fandom You Want to Join or Hyped Book You Want to Read

I’m going to change this to a book I wish I’d loved because I want to join the fandom. And that would have to be Cruel Prince by Holly Black. But alas, this book wasn’t for me.

Shortbread: An Author You Can’t Get Enough Of

Jane Austen for sure. I love all of her books and wish she’d written more.

Samoas/Caramel Delights: An Emotional Rollercoaster

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. It made me laugh, cry (a lot), gasp and just about every other emotion out there.

Oreos: A Book Whose Cover Was Better Than The Story

Probably The Mermaid and Mrs Hancock but I still really like the story. But the cover is just stunning.

Tagalongs/Peanut Butter Patties: A Book That Wasn’t What You Expected

The Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman. I probably should’ve read the synopsis first. It was a lot more depressing than I thought it was going to be.

Snickerdoodles: A Book You May Never Stop Rereading/Loving

I mean, Harry Potter obviously!

Sugar Cookies: A Book Just As Good As It Sounds

The Guernsey and Literary Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows. It’s just as quirky and cosy as the title suggests.

Thanks for reading,

Jess X
